The program will be following the USA Football guidelines, which have a strong emphasis on learning fundamental techniques to ensure player safety and improved coaching. The practice/game format will give participants the opportunity to immediately implement skills into a game setting. During this practice time, participants will learn and develop fundamental skills in a non-tackle approach to football with the emphasis on participation, fun and good sportsmanship. Each Sunday thereafter will include a practice followed by a game. The first two Sunday's will be practices only. NCPRD's Flag Football program is a league for boys' and girls' grades K-6th ( possible small 7/8th grade division - see below).
